Interior Design

Luxury Interior Design,
from the team behind 100+ stagings.

Most of our interior design clients met us through staging — we transformed the home they were selling, and they asked us to do the same for the one they're keeping. We've built a full-service design practice around that pipeline, plus design-only luxury renovation clients.

What a Superb design engagement includes

Floor plan & space planning

Re-thinking flow, scale, and function room-by-room before a single piece is sourced.

Material & finish selection

Flooring, cabinetry, countertops, paint, hardware, lighting — coordinated across the whole home.

Custom furniture procurement

Restoration Hardware, Arhaus, custom millwork, and designer trade accounts not available to retail buyers.

Art curation

Considered placement, framing, and lighting — original works and editioned prints from our network of galleries.

Window treatments, rugs, accessories

The layered details that turn a built-out room into a finished, livable space.

White-glove installation

We deliver an installed home, not a mood board. Project-managed through reveal day.

The staging-to-design pipeline

We don't compete with interior designers. We compound with staging.

When we stage a home, we're making decisions about scale, palette, lighting, and lifestyle aspiration that buyers respond to in days — and that sellers often see realized for the first time. A meaningful share of those sellers come back to us asking the same question: can you do this for the home we're moving into?

We can. Our designers walk the new home, take the brief, and deliver everything from initial floor plan through final art install. We work with the client's architect, builder, and millwork team. We source through trade accounts not available at retail.

And because we already know the client's taste from the staging engagement, we move faster than a designer starting cold.

Frequently asked

What is the difference between home staging and interior design?

Staging prepares a home to sell — we install our own furniture for the listing period and remove it after closing. Interior design selects, sources, and installs furniture and finishes the homeowner will keep and live with long-term. Many Superb clients hire us for both services in sequence: stage the home they're selling, then design the home they're buying or renovating.

Do you take design-only clients, or only clients who first staged with you?

Both. We take design-only luxury clients across Northern NJ, the Jersey Shore, and the NYC metro. Our staging-to-design pipeline is a meaningful share of our design work, but it's not a prerequisite — many clients come to us for renovation or new-construction interior design directly.

What does a Superb interior design engagement include?

Floor plan and space planning, material and finish selection (flooring, cabinetry, countertops, paint, hardware, lighting), custom furniture procurement (Restoration Hardware, Arhaus, custom millwork, designer trade sourcing), art curation, window treatments, rugs, accessories, and project management through final installation. We deliver a fully designed, installed, livable home — not just a mood board.

What towns and counties do you serve for interior design?

Bergen County (Alpine, Saddle River, Upper Saddle River, Englewood, Tenafly, Ridgewood, Franklin Lakes, Ho-Ho-Kus); Essex County (Short Hills, Millburn, Summit, Montclair); Hudson County (Hoboken, Jersey City); Monmouth County / Jersey Shore (Red Bank, Rumson, Fair Haven, Little Silver, Holmdel, Colts Neck, Middletown); and the NYC metro (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Westchester).

How long does an interior design engagement take?

Most full-house residential design engagements run 4–8 months from kickoff through final installation. Renovation-paired projects depend on construction timelines. Single-room redesigns can be completed in 6–10 weeks.

How does pricing work for interior design?

Design fees are typically structured as a flat project fee plus a procurement fee on furniture and finishes sourced through us. Project minimums start at $25,000 for full-house engagements. We provide custom proposals after an initial consultation that walks the home, scope, and target aesthetic.
